IMPORTANT MILE STONES:

Year 1995/96 - John Witts submits submits a successful application to join the Chippenham and district sunday league under the name of Sir Audley Arms FC. The clubs first colours are blue and white and their home ground is Lackham College. The first season has disaster written all over it with no less than 30 players representing the club only to finish bottom with a record of Played 24 Won 1 Drew 2 Lost 21 Scored 31 Conceded 129.

Year 1996/97 - Trev Whichello is appointed manager and with it the Audley improve significantly and finish a respectable 5th and are duly promoted.

Year 1999/2000 - With John O'meara and John Witts in temporary charge the Audley suffer relegation to division 4 on goal difference despite only losing 1 of their last 6 games

Year   2000/01 - The   team make a great start to the new season but the season ends in January due to foot and mouth outbreak. The league calculate we would've finished 3rd and are promoted straight back to division 3

Year 2001/02 - Stu Shipway is appointed manager due to John O'meara's controversial   transfer to Biddestone Social but the   team gain revenge for this winning a classic game on his first return to Lackham   5-4 which was to be the highlight of the season which promised so much ended in a comfortable mid table position.

Year 2002/03 - The team survive relegation with 2 games to go in a real 4 pointer 4-3 vs Cooper Avon in which the winning goal saved the team and relegated their opponents.

Year 2003/04 - A mid table finish for the team and after this season Stu Shipway steps down as manager.

Year 2004/05 - Steve Mallard is appointed as new manager and with an influx of new players the team start with a 6 game winning streak but inconsistency sets in and the team finish in 5th place, although it's their best finish it could've been more. The team also move home from Lackham College to Stanley Park.

Year 2005/06 - Again the team finish in the top 5 and miss promotion on goal difference but it's something to build on. Stu Shipway announces his retirement from the game.

Year 2006/07 - Best season to date. The team finish 3rd in division 3 and gain promotion. This season also sees the departure of star striker Luke Gullick as he signs on for Chippenham Town but Mallard moves quickly to replace him by bringing in Somerford's star striker Chris 'ozzie' Yeo.

Year 2007/08 - New season new name!! Team now now just Audley FC, the season starts with a disasterous 7-0 defeat by Crown Cosmos but with a big 4-2 win vs Hullavington the following week no one anticipated what was to happen over the remaining 22 games. Injuries and work commitments and a fractured neck to the team's goalkeeper Shane Mansfield meant they only won another   4 games and drawing 1 this season. Also this season Steve Mallard announced his retirement from the game after   13 years of playing for the team, fracturing   1 ankle in 4 places and the other breaking a bone. The team show signs of improvement towards the end of the season.

Year 2008/09 - With the problems of last season the team decide to carry on but with 2 new signings. Stu shipway is back out of retirement to fill the keepers position and James Hiscox joins from Biddestone Social. The team finished a respectable 5th Position  and scored 118 goals, however with conceding 86 goals promotion was a step to far.

Year 2009/10 - Could this be the season Audley finally push for silverware. With Jack Forrester joining the ranks the Audley have their first recognised Goal Keeper in the number of seasons which should surley sure up the problem of the last couple of seasons. With the addition of Michael Few as well from Biddestone Social the Audleys Midfield is looking very strong and fit. Can the Audley mount a challenge???
